Rick Russell is a Co-Owner of RussCorp along with his brother Stephen and his son Chris. Rick has many years of experience in the real estate investing arena, he “retired” from corporate America in March of 2013. Since that time, his brother Stephen, his son Chris and he have created and nurtured a very successful real estate investing business.
Rick is a Real Estate Investor specializing in buy and hold, fix and flip, home building, land development and creative acquisitions of both commercial and residential properties. He is the author of the book “Path to Prosperity”, Real Estate Investing educator and Real Estate Networking Club Co-Owner of “The Houston Buyers Club”. The “HBC” will be a networking and education event for those looking to create Long-Term Passive Real Estate wealth through the acquisition and control of real estate in the Houston marketplace. Rick spends a great deal of time with his family and now looks to empower others in finding the “Why” in their Real Estate Investing lives.
Rick, along with his brother and son teach several Real Estate Investing classes and has spoken many times on the radio and at local real estate clubs including The RICH Club, The Real Acquisitions Summit, The Wealth Club and Prosperity Group. He is always gathering information about the Houston real estate market. Rick is well versed in real estate investing and always willing to share the information he has learned to anyone needing assistance.
Born in Houston Texas in 1947. My early business career was in Sales and Marketing. My last Corporate job was Vice-president of Sales and Marketing with a Houston Communication Company. After eighteen years with this company I decided to retire. After retiring in 2003, I began my career in Real Estate and Investing. I first decided to become a landlord of single family homes in the Houston market. I quickly purchased eight homes for my rental portfolio and have continued to buy and sell rental properties. In 2003 I also opened a Residential Mortgage Company in Spring Branch. We serviced the residential market and quickly moved to the Commercial Market. The Lending and Real Estate businesses went very well until 2008. Then the Real Estate and Financial market crashed.
In 2010 I had to make some major decisions and change our business model. Wanting to stay in the Real Estate business, my brother, nephew and I started building a family owned and operated Real Estate Investment company that specialized in wholesaling, marketing and rehabbing. With a lot of hard work and dedication our growth over the last few years been outstanding with over hundreds of real estate transactions. Our focus today is to stay on the path of building a large real estate portfolio for passive income and helping others achieve success in Real Estate Investing.
CHRIS JOINED THE REAL ESTATE WORLD FULL TIME IN APRIL OF 2012 AND HASN’T LOOKED BACK. STARTING OFF AS A WHOLESALER, HE QUICKLY EVOLVED AND EXPANDED HIS KNOWLEDGE OF REAL ESTATE INVESTING TO INCLUDE WHOLETAIL, REHABBING, LANDLORDING, AND ALSO BECAME A LICENSED REALTOR WITH A NACK FOR SHORT-SALES. THESE SKILLS HAVE HELPED HIM AND RUSSCORP FACILITATE AND CLOSE MULTIPLE HUNDREDS OF DEALS. WITH HIS WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE, CHRIS IS LOOKING TO GIVE BACK TO THE LOCAL REAL ESTATE COMMUNITY BY SHARRING ALL THE TIPS AND TRICKS HE HAS LEARNED ALONG THE WAY THAT HAVE HELPED HIM TO BE SO SUCCESSFUL.
